Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., son of the late dictaor President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. yesteray filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for president in the 2022 elections.
Marcos, accompanied by his sons and wife, filed hisCOC past 11 am, Wednesday, October 6, at the Sofitel Harbor Garden Tent in Pasay City.
Marcos filed his candidacy under the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), a 3-year-old political party .
PPP,now chaired byMarcos, was founded by allies of President Rodrigo Duterte who were pushing for a switch to a federal for of government.
