The Philippines on Saturday received 1.5 million doses of government-procured anti-coronavirus vaccines from China’s Sinovac, raising the country’s total stockpile to 26.2 million doses.

The new shipment, which was part of the government’s 26 million procured shots from the Beijing-based firm, landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport past 8 a.m. onboard Cebu Pacific flight 5J 671.
