A total of 50 Tomasino scholars of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) who were enrolled in Photovoltaic (Solar Panel) System Installation NC II under the Evangelista administration’s “Aksyon Sa Kabuhayan” program received their allowance last week.
The PV Systems Installation NC II is a short TESDA course that trains the Tomasino scholars in performing site assessment, checking PV components and materials compliance, installing and commissioning PV system and preparing documentation requirements for PV systems installation.
This initiative is part of the Evangelista administration’s “Aksyon sa Kabuhayan” program which is aims to provide livelihood and employment for all Tomasinos who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of their scholarship benefits, Evangelista said that the scholars were entitled to receive their cash allowance which would serve as their training support funds.
The TESDA trainings were made possible through the partnership of Mayor Ernesto Evangelista, 2nd District Congressman Alan Dujali and Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib.
