The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) said the debate between Vice President Jejomar C. Binay and Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV has been set for November 27.
Trillanes had earlier set the deadline for their debate for November 22, but Binay’s camp rejected his deadline, branding it as Trillanes’ bullying tactic.
KBP Chairman Ruperto Nicdao Jr. said the camps of both Binay and Trillanes both agreed on Nov. 27 as the date of the debate, as well as the venue and guidelines of the face-off.
“The date agreed by both parties is Nov. 27,” Nicdao said.
“I agreed with the date despite the fact that it is beyond the one month deadline I had set earlier just so that this debate would push through. As for the details, I’ll wait for the KBP announcement,” Trillanes.
