The three firms from the Davao Region were recently handed their Certificates of Nomination.

Handing out the Certificates, during the 7th Social Partnership at Work at the Grand Men Seng Hotel last September 23, were Dole Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz and Dole regional director Joffrey M. Suyao.

Suyao said the companies earlier won  3 ‘labor awards’ to quality them for the Secretary’s award.

Tadeco bagged the Tripartite Certificate of Compliance with Labor Standards (TCCLS) award in 2012, Outstanding Labor -Management Council (LMC) award in 2013, and the Child Labor Free Establishment (CLFE) award in 2014.

On the other hand, Hedcor Inc. and Hedcor Sibulan Inc. bagged the LMC in 2011, TCCLS in 2012, and CLFE in 2013.

DLPC also qualified after it bagged the TCCLS in 2012, LMC in 2013, and CLFE in 2014.

The three companies, according to Suyao,  will also qualify for the Presidential award or the Tripatite Seal of Excellence, which is the highest award given out by DoLE, if they win additional labor awards — Gawad Kaligtasan at Kalusugan Award and the National Award – which are up for grabs during awarding on DoLE’s anniversary in December.
